Join us for our 4th annual Back to School Block Party on Saturday, August 17th from 12-4 PM! Enjoy FREE food, ice cream, and more! We will be holding a Backpack Giveaway from 2-3 PM for kids of all ages to receive backpacks! We’ll have our Jay’s Community Clothing Closet open all day for your Back-to-School or Fall clothing needs. We will also be offering FREE haircuts for kids, and activities for kids and families to enjoy! Several community organizations will be present to give families much-needed resources and information.

Backpack Giveaway: We will be giving away backpacks from 2-3 PM in the church building for kids in our community. No pre-registration is required. You can pick up your ticket at The Journey booth on the day of the event.
FREE Clothing Closet: Available all day in the church fellowship hall. Jay’s Community Clothing Closet will be open to the public during the block party. If you are in need clothing for the fall, please stop by and take what you need.
FREE Haircuts: We will have local barbers in our building offering back-to-school haircuts to students. Pick up your ticket at The Journey booth.
We are located on the corner of 29th Street and Derry Street. The block party will be located on 28th Street and in the building. We will have our backpack giveaways, clothing giveaways and free hair cuts in the building. Join us from 12-4 PM, on Aug. 17th!
