Upcoming Events

We hold many events throughout the year and you can always find those on our Church Center calendar. Here are a few of our upcoming events!

Pride Sunday

Sunday, June 7  | 9 & 11 AM

June is Pride Month! 🌈

We’re excited to celebrate Pride Sunday on June 7 during our 9 & 11 AM services.

It will be a meaningful morning of worship, communion, community, and celebration as we reflect on God’s expansive love and the beauty and dignity of every person.

At The Journey, we believe church should be a place where people are welcomed fully, loved deeply, and reminded that they belong. Pride Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community and continue building a church rooted in grace, inclusion, compassion, and justice.

And–we’ll plan to have a Pride-inspired refreshments!

Whether you’ve been part of The Journey for years or are simply looking for a place to feel seen and welcomed, we’d love for you to join us. Come as you are, and bring a friend with you.

Youth Sunday

Sunday, June 14  | 9 & 11 AM

Sunday, June 14, is Youth Sunday at The Journey! Our Journey Youth will be stepping into leadership roles across both services, serving in hospitality, worship, tech, and more, and will be focusing our service around justice. Come celebrate and support our students as they lead us in a powerful morning of worship and remind us that God is actively at work in the next generation. You won’t want to miss it!

Leveraging Privilege for Justice: Summer Book Discussion

This summer, join us for a five-week Zoom book study exploring Subversive Witness: Scripture’s Call to Leverage Privilege by Dominique DuBois Gilliard.

Led by Elizabeth Givler, Justice Ministry Co-Leader, this study invites us into thoughtful conversation about how Scripture calls us to examine privilege, pursue justice, and embody faithful witness in our communities today.

Together, we’ll reflect on Scripture, history, and practical discipleship as we consider what it means to follow Jesus with integrity in a complex world.

Meeting Dates (Sundays at 6 PM on Zoom):
June 28, July 12, July 26, August 9, August 23.

Who Should Join: This study is open to anyone interested in faith and justice, biblical engagement with power and privilege, meaningful discussion, and growing in discipleship and action.

If cost or access to the book is a barrier, please reach out confidentially—support is available.

We hope you’ll join us for this important and enriching conversation this summer.
