Join us for our Annual Back to School block party on Saturday, August 19th from 12 pm to 5 pm! Enjoy food from Queen’s BBQ and Southern Cuisine, FREE ice cream, and more. We will be holding a backpack giveaway from 2 pm to 3 pm for kids of all ages to receive backpacks and school supplies. We’ll have our Jay’s Community Clothing Closet open all day for your Back-to-School or Fall clothing needs. We will also be offering FREE haircuts, and activities for kids and families to enjoy.

Backpack Giveaway: We will be giving away backpacks from 2 pm to 3 pm in the church building for kids in our community in need of backpacks and school supplies. No registration is required. You can pick your ticket at The Journey booth on the day of the event.
FREE Clothing Closet: Available all day in the fellowship hall. Jay’s Community Clothing Closet will be open to the public all day during the block party. If you need clothing for the fall please stop by and take what you need.
FREE Haircuts: We will have local barbers in our building offering Back to School haircuts to students. Pick up your ticket at The Journey booth.
We are located on the corner of 29th and Derry. The block party will be located on 28th Street and in the building. We will have our backpack giveaways, clothing giveaways and free hair cuts in the building. Join us from 12pm to 5 pm, on Aug. 19th!
