We hold many events throughout the year and you can always find those on our Church Center calendar. Here are a few of our upcoming events this fall!

Church Center

International Friendsgiving

Saturday, November 23 | 6:30 PM

The Journey’s Young Professionals Group is excited to host an International Friendsgiving on November 23rd at 6:30 PM at the church! This event supports CWS’s biggest annual fundraiser, helping support our refugee neighbors in Harrisburg. Join us for a special 5-course meal prepared by women in CWS’s Marketplace, a program focused on women’s economic empowerment.

While hosted by the Young Professionals, this event is open to everyone in the church! Meals will be pre-ordered, picked up by the Young Professionals, and brought to The Journey for us all to enjoy together.

Orders are due by Saturday, Nov. 16th! This amazing 5 course meal is $25 per person, click to register and purchase a meal.

Community Thanksgiving Meal

Sunday, November 24 | 5-7 PM

Save the Date! The Journey is partnering with Aldersgate United Methodist Church to host a community Thanksgiving meal on Sunday, November 24, from 5-7 PM. We’re thrilled to bring together our Journey family and neighbors for this special evening of gratitude and connection!

Family Christmas Movie Night

Sunday, December 7 | 6-8 PM

Mark your calendars! Join us for a free family movie night in a fun, friendly atmosphere on Saturday, December 7, from 6-8 PM. Wear your PJs and bring your pillows as we enjoy Elf (Rated PG). “Breakfast for Dinner” will be served at 6 PM in the Gathering Place, followed by the movie at 6:30 PM in the Worship Center.
