Refuge College Group Kickoff

Sunday, September 6 | 6-8 PM

Our College Ministry is kicking off the fall semester on Sunday, September 6, at 6 PM!  It’s going to be a great night to connect, meet new friends, and start the year off together.

Starting this fall, our college group, open to all young adults of college age, will meet once a month at the home of JR and Dr. Rebecca Harris, just a few minutes from the Messiah University campus. Each gathering is a chance to build community, grow in faith, and enjoy time together—plus, there’s usually food involved!

Young Professional Group Fall Kickoff

Tuesday, September 8 | 6-8 PM

Join us for our Fall Kickoff—a S’mores Night at Sammi and Drew Gutshall’s home, just a few minutes down the street from The Journey! We’ll spend the evening enjoying good conversation, connection, and, of course, plenty of s’mores. We’ll provide the s’mores, and if you’d like, feel free to bring a snack or drink to share. Whether you’ve joined us before or this is your first time, we’d love to have you!

And don’t forget to bring a chair for the campfire. If it rains, we’ll move the gathering indoors. We can’t wait to see you there!
 

Fall Relaunch Service

Sunday, September 13 | 9 & 11 AM

Join us on Sunday, September 13 for our Fall Relaunch!! We are excited to kick-off the fall with this dynamic, engaging worship service, as well as relaunching our age-level ministries including kids, youth group and college. You won’t want to miss this incredible worship experience!

Sunday, September 20 | 4-5 PM

SANCTUARY is a safe space for open conversation about LGBTQIA+ topics and living the Christian life. All are welcome—LGBTQIA+ individuals, allies, and anyone who wants to listen, learn, and grow together with respect, grace, and love.

Beginning, Sunday, September 20, we will meet every other Sunday, from 4-5 PM in the Fellowship Hall (lower level of the church).

Get Connected Mixer

Sunday, September 20 | 5-6:30 PM

If you are new to The Journey OR just looking to get more connected, join Pastor Kris and Pastor Shannon on Sunday, September 20, from 5-6:30 PM at The Journey for a fun, relaxed evening designed to help you meet new people, hear a bit more about who we are, and find ways to get plugged in.

Whether you’ve been coming for a few weeks, a few months, or this past year, this is a great chance to enjoy some food, ask questions, and connect with others who are on the journey too.

Come as you are—bring a family member, a friend or come solo—and we’ll take care of the rest. We can’t wait to connect with you!

Intro To The Journey

Sundays, October 4 & 11 | 5-7 PM

Are you interested in learning more about The Journey or taking the next step to get connected?

Our upcoming Intro to The Journey is a two-week class designed to give you a foundation for who we are, what God is doing here, and how you can find your place in it. Led by Pastor Kris and Pastor Shannon, sessions will be held on Sundays, October 4 & 11, from 5-7 PM in the Gathering Place, with a light dinner provided. Childcare will be available if needed. 

We are excited to see so many in our community joining us, and would love for you to be a part of it!
