Pastor Kris recently co-wrote Followers Under 40: The journey away from Church for Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha, a book that explores why younger generations are disengaging from church and what can be done about it. For the next few weeks, we’ll dive into this research, connect it with Scripture, and wrestle with how The Journey can continue being a church that is truly inclusive, diverse, relevant, and transformative for all generations. Whether you’re under 40 or not, this series will invite us to reimagine faith, community, and what it means to be the church in today’s world. And more importantly, how to embody a church and faith that continues faithfully in the future, and has deep meaning for the youngest members among us.
The Most Important Question Ever, centers on the question of what it means to follow and love Jesus while embodying empathy in our world.
