Intro to The Journey

Wednesdays, March 4, 18 & 25 | 7 – 8:30 PM

Are you interested in learning more about The Journey or taking the next step to get connected?

Intro to The Journey is a three-week class designed to give you a foundation for who we are, what God is doing here, and how you can find your place in it. Led by Pastor Kris and Pastor Shannon, sessions will be held on Wednesdays, March 4, 18 and 25, from 7-8:30 PM in the Gathering Place. Childcare will be provided. 

We are excited to see so many in our community joining us, and would love for you to be a part of it!

New Small Group Starting — Worship Small Group!

Looking for a space to worship, pray, and connect with others during the week? A new Worship Small Group is starting Thursday, March 5, led by Raquel Martinez and a team.

We’ll meet every other Thursday from 7–8:30 PM in the Youth Room (lower level of the church) for a relaxed and meaningful time of worship, prayer, and community.

Whether you play an instrument or simply want a place to worship alongside others, you are welcome. Come as you are and join us as we grow in faith and connection together

Introducing Family Play Days!

Family Play Days are a fun way for Journey families to play, connect, and build community together. Throughout the year, we’ll host three casual park hangouts designed for kids to play and connect—and for adults to spend time together too. This is open to all of our Next Gen Ministries– Journey Kids and Journey Youth!

Our first Family Play Day will be indoors on Friday, March 6, from 5–7 PM at Urban Air. The Journey will have a room reserved on the first level.

We’re excited to offer FREE basic passes for kids, which include access to the park’s basic jumping areas. Parents are welcome to relax and hang out while the kids jump—or, if you’d like to jump too, you can purchase your own pass.Join our Play Days Group for updates, details, and reminders here.

Young Professional Group - BYOC – Bring Your Own Craft Night

Young Professionals, join us for our March gathering on Tuesday, March 10 from 6–8 PM at The Journey!

Bring your favorite craft—painting, drawing, crocheting, journaling, knitting, or whatever you love—and come enjoy an evening of connection, community, and meaningful conversation. Whether you’re working on a masterpiece or just doodling for fun, this is a relaxed space to create and connect.

Feel free to bring a snack to share if you’d like!

We can’t wait to see you. All are welcome—whether this is your first time joining us or you’ve been before. Come as you are and bring your creativity!

Caregiver Co: Talking With Your Children About Race & Culture

Join us for our first Caregiver Co Gathering!

Join us on March 20 from 6–7:30 PM at The Journey for our first Caregiver Co gathering—a space created to support caregivers in parenting faithfully in a complex world. Our first discussion will be centered around race and culture led by our Justice Team, with guided teaching, honest conversation, faith-based reflection, prayer, and take-home resources. This gathering is for adults, and childcare will be provided while caregivers gather.

A Lenten Retreat

Sunday, March 29 | 5-8 PM

Join us for an evening of reflection, story, and connection as we kick off Holy Week. We’ll gather for food and fellowship before exploring themes of fear, risk, loss, and what love looks like during Lent.

Whether you find yourself in a season of hope, grief, joy, disappointment, or the complexity of mixed emotions, come experience the promise of God-with-us no matter what your personal moment holds. All are welcome to join this Lenten retreat.

With guided reflections from Stephanie Duncan Smith, author of Even After Everything, take a pause from the demands of your season, and give yourself the gift of experiencing the hope, love, and promise of Jesus.

The author will be giving a take home copy to everyone in attendance!

Brunch & Craft Retreat Day

Saturday, April 18  | 10 AM – 2 PM

Join us at The Journey for our upcoming Brunch & Crafting Day—a day filled with brunch, creativity, and meaningful connection!

Take some time for yourself to enjoy a great brunch, inspiring conversations, and dedicated crafting time. Bring your own craft—whether it’s crochet, knitting, painting, friendship bracelets, or any other creative project—along with your materials, and settle in for a relaxing and fun-filled day.

If you are able, please bring a brunch dish to share.

Come for part of the event or stay for the whole time—we’d love to have you there! This special gathering is hosted by Kendall Berry and Chelsea Johns.
