All children are welcome to join us every Sunday morning at 9 am & 11 am for an exciting time together with interactive, practical applications of God’s word. Check-in starts at 8:50 am and 10:50 am. Our dedicated team of leaders, under the leadership of Kyra Gonzalez, provide an amazing worship & learning experience.

What Are We Teaching this Month?

Getting invited to a party is one of the best feelings, and being left out is one of the worst. But there’s good news–Jesus never leaves anyone out! He invites everyone to spend time with Him, experience His love, and share it with others. This series will remind kids that Jesus’ invitation is always open, and we’re never too far away to join the party!

In this five-week series, kids will learn that I’m invited to believe in Jesus, love like Jesus does, experience Jesus’ miracles, ask Jesus for help, and worship Jesus.

Meet Kyra!

My name is Kyra Gonzalez! I’m from the Poconos, Pa., and have lived in central PA for the past several years. I have a bachelor’s in Social Work from Eastern University and a Master’s of Social Work from Widner University. I have worked in Foster Care/Adoption as a supervisor and in an emergency social work field in a hospital. I love to spend quality time with people and go to Chick-fil-A, Target, and Trader Joe’s. The middle part of the brownie is the best part.

Certified Team

Our certified team of teachers and assistants adhere to our Safe Sanctuaries policy as well as required background checks. To serve with children and youth, you must be at The Journey for at least six months.
